Do I need a background in art or design to apply?

Not at all! Our program welcomes both beginners and students with prior experience. You’ll learn through hands-on studio practice guided by professional mentors.

Can I apply if I don’t have a portfolio?

Yes, you can. You may submit a basic creative idea or join our trial workshop instead. A portfolio is required only for scholarship applicants.

What is the Double Degree with France?

It’s a 4-year international program where you study 3 years in Thailand and 1 year in France. Upon graduation, you’ll receive a Thai bachelor’s degree and a French DN-MADE diploma.

Is the program taught in English or Thai?

The program is fully taught in English. Language support and preparatory sessions are available for students who need to build confidence.

What is the estimated cost of the program?

Tuition is paid per year. Scholarships up to 100% are available. You can find detailed tuition and fee breakdown on our “Program Fees” page.

Are scholarships available?

The scholarship opportunity is announced annually and qualified applicants will be considered by the scholarship committee

What if I’m interested but not ready to commit yet?

We recommend joining one of our trial workshops — it’s the best way to experience RICE before applying.

Can international students apply?

Absolutely! RICE welcomes international applicants. Our Admissions Team will support you with visa and relocation guidance every step of the way.
